Ali Akbar Mottakan, Deputy Minister for Management and Resources Development of the Ministry of Agriculture Jahad, during his visit to Natural Resource Early Warning and Hazard Monitoring Center, called the use of modern technologies by the FRWO hopeful and praised FRWO's efforts to intensify the protection of the country's natural resources.

According to FRWO's website, Deputy Minister for Management and Resources Development on the sidelines of visiting the Museum and Permanent Exhibition of Natural Resources said: "FRWO's duties in natural resources management are particularly complex due to the type of work and technical measures, so the Ministry of Agriculture Jahad pays special attention to the mentioned complex working conditions." 

Deputy Minister for Management and Resources Development during the meeting with Massoud Mansour, Deputy Minister and Head of FRWO called FRWO's duties in land and natural resources management very heavy and and reiterated: "Expectations of people and official in this area from FRWO are very high today."

Dr. Mohammad Ghorbani, Deputy Minister for Economic Development of the Minister of Agriculture Jahad, who accompanied Mottakan, Deputy Minister of Management and Resources Development, during his visit, said: "FRWO has human resource capability and has carried out good programmes in various sectors, however, it is important to be able to use these strategies to protect forests and manage groundwater resources".

At the beginning of the meeting, Head of FRWO presented a report on FRWO's performance in the forest, rangeland, desert and watershed management sectors and reiterated that considering the fact that natural resources comprise about 80 percent of our national territory, FRWO has heavy responsibility of natural resources management throughout the country.

He said: "Iran is a developing country and development is inevitable, but development in different parts of the country should be commensurate with the advantages of region and in a way that causes minimal damage to natural resources, therefore, a large part of the agencies and ministries that want to work in the development sector are directly related to natural resources management."

Mansour reminded that FRWO was committed to carry out our outmost power in line with the "9 in 99" initiative, which included nine innovative activities along with the four pivotal programmes. He emphasized that FRWO is committed to carry out the related plans in line with the "3 in 14 in 1400" initiative in the current year.
